Just for Fun #3: On Puzzles, featuring Scott Kim

This week, we’re featuring a TED Talk by Scott Kim, a prolific puzzle designer. He talks about his beginnings in designing puzzles, what he thinks puzzles should be, and a few of his personal favourites.

Have you ever made a maze on a piece of paper? Perhaps you’ve doodled it in the margins of a notebook while daydreaming during a particularly dry lecture. If so, you’ve designed a small puzzle! Scott Kim is a famed puzzle designer and has created brainteasers for a wide variety of clients: magazines, famous magicians, just to name a few. His TED Talk highlights his history with puzzles and he presents a few of his favourites.
